Half Term at Surfing Cow

There’s lots to do at Surfing Cow this half term! Our ice cream shop is open every day of the half term week (12-5pm, 23rd-31st Oct) serving your favourite Ice Creams. We have lots of flavours to choose from, including some seasonal specials like Coffee & Caramel Ripple, Pumpkin Spice and lots more! Get in to the Halloween spirit and choose our special Halloween Cones with Spooky Sprinkles! We’ll also be serving delicious hot chocolate topped with a scoop of ice cream, marshmallows and Halloween sprinkles!

The Maize Maze is open during shop hours and it’s FREE ENTRY with every ice cream or hot chocolate purchased. If you don’t fancy an ice cream then entry is just £3 per person. See if you can find your way to the middle, or will you be tricked by farmer Lawrence and end up at a dead end?

Our Pick Your Own Pumpkin patch will be open from Saturday 23rd October, and is open every day until the pumpkins run out. We have a big selection of sizes available to choose from, with prices starting at £3. You don’t need to book, just head to the shop on arrival and follow the signs to the Pumpkin Patch. You can then pay at the patch once you’ve picked out your pumpkins. We will have some wheelbarrows available to help you get your pumpkins to your car!

Double Gold award-winning!

Our Chocolate ice cream recently won a Gold award at the Food Drink Devon 2021/22 awards! This makes it double award-winning, alongside it’s Taste of the West Gold award earlier this year!

Click & Collect coming soon

Our Click & Collect service will resume for October half term and will then be in use for our Christmas pre-order service. You’ll be able to pre-order your Christmas ice cream for collection in December. Full Christmas flavour list & further details coming soon.

Winter Opening Hours

From November 1st our shop will be closed for the Winter, reopening for the 2022 Easter Holidays! You’ll still be able to get your hands on your favourite ice cream using our Click & Collect service during December, but be sure to stock up your freezer before Christmas!
